Mizgorski Highlights Need for COVID-19 Vaccine in Allegheny County

HARRISBURG – Rep. Lori Mizgorski (R-Allegheny) is highlighting the need for the COVID-19 vaccine in the 30th Legislative District. Mizgorski sent letters to Dr. Donald Yealy of UPMC and Acting Health Secretary Alison Beam to request they work with her to bring vaccines to her district. She also proposes a vaccination site in the UPMC Outpatient Center located at the intersection of State Route 8 and Mt. Royal Boulevard in Allison Park.

Mizgorski Reappointed to Four Committees

Allegheny, Washington County Legislators Urge Governor to Sign Bill to Address Access to Public Records during Disaster Emergency

Tom Wolf’s statements that he plans to veto a government transparency bill (House Bill 2463) that addresses access to public records during a disaster declaration and received unanimous support from the Legislature. HARRISBURG – Presenting how Allegheny County’s Primary Election Day polling place consolidation plan violates both the letter and spirit of the law, members of the Allegheny County Republican House delegation called on Pennsylvania Secretary of State Kathryn Boockvar to reverse her approval.
